About
Esha Jhawar, born and raised in Southern California, is a second-year student at Virginia Commonwealth University. Since elementary school, Esha has had a passion for cooking and baking healthy, cultural food for her family and friends. She loves the bond of love shared when enjoying meals with family. Through her large family, Esha knows the value of eating fresh, home-cooked meals and the joy it brings, especially to her grandparents. With age, it is evident that seniors struggle with life’s essential pleasures, such as being unable to prepare home-cooked meals due to health and financial limitations. Through Meals with Meaning, Esha can provide fresh meals to seniors in her new community, Richmond, Virginia. Her goal is to bring joy, comfort, and love to people in her community who do not get to enjoy some of life’s bare beauties.
